Lambing 2010 is here!!

At long last, after a long hard winter, the lambing season is upon us. It’s a time of year that brings so much joy and happiness, and yet can be heartbreaking at the same time. A few weeks ago we had a false start with still born twins, but as they say, “A bad start, [...]

Volcanic Ash

Took some time out yesterday and spent the afternoon on the north coast near Strathy Point, Sutherland. Maybe not a brilliant day for picture taking, but managed to get a couple of shots worth keeping. This one looks quite dramatic in mono, and I didn’t need to do much on my computer. I use Nikon [...]

I’ve been beavering away to make not just this blog, but the whole Canisp House web presence user friendly on the latest mobile devices. I have come up with a solution that automaticaly detects which device visitors are using, and then deliver my content in the most appropriate way. Not all of the pages are [...]

Enter the Dragons Den

Enter The Dragons Den, be oh so afraid. I found this gem in Duncan Bannatynes twitterpics. The newspaper headline says it all. Made me smile. I wont be pitching for anything this week Maybe next week, hmm.
