I wont be pitching for anything this week Maybe next week, hmm.  Or at least I hope it is. It seems like a distant memory, but it’s not that far away and time to think about the warm months with long days that lay ahead. The Photographs below, taken just below Pulteney Town, Wick. One of its new range [...]  Managed to catch these little blighters at the right moment. Hamish and Nipper.  You guessed, even more snow. Not sure if we can get out today, but at least we can tend the animals. The quad is a god send. Without it, life would be very difficult, or certainly more than it is just now. This one machine means so much to us. Imagine checking the fence line, [...]  Arose this morning to a familiar scene, more snow. More to come over the weekend.  Caroline has had a busy day indeed. We had some surplus beetroots and, out of curiosity, wanted to find out what colour dye it would make. Not red as we all might think, or possibly blue, or even grey. After temporarily trashing the kitchen, the result was the deepest of golden yellows.
