I’d like to introduce myself, I’m John DH and together with my wife, Caroline, we are Canisp House. I started this blog site because I want to write about what interests me and my passions in life. If what I write helps others, that’s even better. So what is it that I’m passionate about? First on the list is Caroline followed by my two Border Collie dogs, Hamish and Nipper. Caroline runs the Canisp House B+B, more than puts in her fair share on the farm, looking after all of the other animals, and she too has a passion: spinning, weaving, textiles, in fact anything to do with wool and crafts. Check out her blog here Crafts. What I do is, do as I’m told, love my wife, walk the dogs, help on the farm and I do take a genuine interest in our guests that stay in our Bed and Breakfast. I fact I love meeting people. Those are all the things that we both share. I love my photography and I’m an avant follower of the Royal Photographic Society and one day, I might even get a distinction with them.
