 Or at least I hope it is. It seems like a distant memory, but it’s not that far away and time to think about the warm months with long days that lay ahead. The Photographs below, taken just below Pulteney Town, Wick. Beautiful spot, just outside of the harbour.  Just published a new guide for Wick, Caithness. Links to some of the featured attractions will appear soon.  New page, Camster Cairns in the ‘things to do’ part of the main web site. The cairns are an ancient site dating back as far as as 4000BC, with evidence of human neolithic activity prior to their existence. Access is easy and FREE. Caithness is rich in archaeological sites, so, more to come about other [...]  The new site is working well, so well in fact, I’ve managed to start off a ‘Things to do’ section. The first article is about Caithness Seacoast sea tours. They operate out of Wick harbour and you can read all about them on the main site by following this LINK  Mono is my favourite and works so well with certain scenery. This is a croft house near Dunbeath. Capturing the subtle gradient in the sky was quite a task, but achievable. I'm a sucker for these type of shots. Cold, windy and wet. Taken at Latheronwheel this Autumn. 
Just thought I would start posting a few pictures while I’m in the process of sprucing up the gallery. This was taken near where I live at Lybster Harbour a year or so, ago.
