This post will be added to as we progress through the lambing period. I enjoy the experience, and I’ll try to convey in words the roller coaster ride of emotion and work as we go along. Peaceful night and [...]  At long last, after a long hard winter, the lambing season is upon us. It’s a time of year that brings so much joy and happiness, and yet can be heartbreaking at the same time. A few weeks ago we had a false start with still born twins, but as they say, “A bad start, [...]  It’s nearly that time of year. Now the snow has gone, the days getting longer and warmer. Time for a brief pause after the rigours of winter and a time to reflect on last year and what this year may bring. Rather than put into words the hard work lambing season brings, I would rather [...]  Managed to catch these little blighters at the right moment. Hamish and Nipper.  You guessed, even more snow. Not sure if we can get out today, but at least we can tend the animals. The quad is a god send. Without it, life would be very difficult, or certainly more than it is just now.
