 At long last, after a long hard winter, the lambing season is upon us. It’s a time of year that brings so much joy and happiness, and yet can be heartbreaking at the same time. A few weeks ago we had a false start with still born twins, but as they say, “A bad start, [...]  It’s nearly that time of year. Now the snow has gone, the days getting longer and warmer. Time for a brief pause after the rigours of winter and a time to reflect on last year and what this year may bring. Rather than put into words the hard work lambing season brings, I would rather [...]  You guessed, even more snow. Not sure if we can get out today, but at least we can tend the animals. The quad is a god send. Without it, life would be very difficult, or certainly more than it is just now. This one machine means so much to us. Imagine checking the fence line, [...] |
